About the Clyde Bar
The Clyde bar is located in Helensburgh on the west coast of Scotland, 25 miles west of Glasgow. The family run pub has been on the go since 1988 and is an easy-going place where all kinds of people of all ages drink and socialise. The pub contains two bars which are manned by an attentive, pleasant-mannered mixture of bar staff.
We are an over 18 only establishment serving a range of normal and premium lagers, ciders, heavy, guinness and a range of bottled beers and alcopops, as well as a range of soft drinks. On the spirit side we sell an extensive, and ever expanding, range of well-known and not-so-well-known spirits, and also a small but ingenious range of cocktails and shooters such as Bakewells and Gummy Bears.
We have started serving real ales on draught and several other bottled real ales.
The bar also prides itself on its large range (100+) of malt whiskies, which range from a little as £2.40 to £20+ a shot, with a wide diversity of distillers, regions and ages (a real must for the whisky connoisseur).
The bar contains a mixture of entertainments including two pool tables, a digital jukebox, a designated wooden dancing floor, two big plasma tv's (unfortunately no Sky) and two fruit machines.
We have other entertainment on certain nights as well as live bands on a regular basis. To find out more please go to our What's On page.
We also have a comic gallery, which has wall hangings of comics from over the last 60/70 years, and a gallery of autographs from a variety of famous people from different areas of the arts. Please note that we also have a single bed located at the rear of the pub, should you feel the need ?
